Chat Amour III a Great Success!
Fundraising Event Raised over $38,000 for the Fort Collins Cat Rescue
This year, the 305 supporters attending the 3rd annual fundraiser for the Fort Collins Cat Rescue held on February 13th at the Drake Centre were very generous to this local, non-profit, no-kill shelter. Chat Amour III raised $38,593.59, exceeding last year’s proceeds by over $13,000. The top five sponsors for this year’s event included PETCO, Poudre Pet & Feed Supply, VCA Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado, Austin Korshak Hach Memorial Fund, along with an anonymous donor “In Memory of Larry.” Terry Jester once again donated her time as emcee/auctioneer, while Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald provided the entertainment. There are many outreach programs and events to help this local non-profit find homes for cats and kittens (over 2,400 since June 2006) and continue to offer spay/neuter surgeries at their low-cost spay/neuter clinic (over 11,400 dog & cat surgeries since March 2007).
