Beat the Heat!
![]() |
| To help reduce the number of homeless cats, Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic is offering a “Beat the Heat” promotion made possible by a grant from PetSmart Charities®. During the entire month of February, FCCRSNC will spay up to 200 female cats for a special rate of $20.
This special rate is available to all residents of Colorado and Wyoming. Cat parents who wish to take advantage of this offer should mention the “Beat the Heat” promotion when they call to schedule their appointment, (970) 484-1861. In 2011, there were 890 unwanted cats euthanized in Larimer County. A female cat can have up to three litters a year, with an average of four kittens per litter, so spaying even one cat can have a significant impact on the number of unwanted kittens. With a goal of spaying 200 cats during this "Beat the Heat" promotion, FCCRSNC could potentially prevent 2,400 births. |

HSUS Pet Photo Contest Have some fun while helping us to raise money to cover the spay/neuter expenses on the dozens of kittens we will receive at our
shelter this spring! For the 3rd consecutive year, FCCRSNC is participating in the HSUS World Spay Day Photo Contest. To get involved you can enter your own pet into the photo contest while designating FCCRSNC as your charity of choice and earn money for FCCRSNC by voting and asking your friends and family to vote for your pet, AND you can vote (and encourage others to vote) for our resident therapy cat, Jake, by clicking on his photo. Each vote requires a $1 donation. There are all kinds of GREAT prizes for winners of the photo contest! In the past this contest has raised almost $1,000 for FCCRSNC! Please help us to continue this success by voting before the February 28 deadline. Click Here for more information on the contest including how to enter a pet and how to win prizes! |

Vaccine Clinic Extremely Busy
| Our vaccine clinics have been extremely busy as of late which is great because it
means many community members are benefiting from this much needed service that our organization is able to offer. However, it has made it so that many of
our clients at our vaccine clinics are having to wait longer than we would like to have their pets seen. Please know that we are working hard to improve the
flow of our vaccine clinics so that we can help as many people as possible in a timely fashion. If you have access to a printer please print and fill out this
Vaccine Sheet ahead of time and bring it with you. Thank you for being a responsible
pet owner! |
